Frontline PPE Support
Supporting frontline workers with critical PPE production during the COVID-19 pandemic.
When hospitals across Wales faced PPE shortages during the COVID-19 crisis, we dedicated our premises, staff and vehicles to support the For the Love of Scrubs and Scrubs for Hubs initiatives. More than 25,000 items of scrubs were produced and distributed through this collaborative community effort.
- Provided our office as the admin and distribution hub
- Coordinated materials, storage, and logistics
- Delivered finished PPE items to local hospitals, fire stations and ambulance bases
- Dedicated staff time for organising, packing and transport
- Acted as liaison with front-line Emergency Services Directors and Managers
- Supported production of over 26,000 PPE items during the crisis
We received a formal commendation from the Lord-Lieutenant of West Glamorgan for our contribution.
